At Hexcel, we call our employees the “strength ...
I worked at Hexcel full-time (More than a year)
- Rarely ever stressful / easy work
- Good foot in the door type of job
- Starting pay is on the higher side of the spectrum for a typical starter level lab tech job.
- Benefits are decent/good
- No room for growth/no ladder to climb
- Not a long term type of job
- The type of work is redundant all year long. Easy/non-stressful but boring
I applied online. I interviewed at Hexcel (Casa Grande, AZ).
Applied roughly March, got first phone interview on 26 of June 2017 with the HR manager. The program they used cut out a couple times and had to recall. Interview lasted about 45 mins. Had second phone interview on July 11, 17 with two current engineer people at the site in Casa Grande, AZ. That interview also got cut out once and had to re-call them. Interview lasted about 17 mins. Got selected to have the onsite assessment. This consisted of a presentation of a technical project that you played a key role in and demonstrates your technical abilities. I then had three other interviews with groups of 2-3 people. I also had a dinner with some of the Hexcel staff the night before. This happened the 27-28 of August, 2017. Primarily wanted to know if I was flexible and if I got along well with others.
