I worked at Hickory Farms full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great location, chose my employees, decent pay, bonuses, nice mgmt, good products, great reputation. Good online training.

    Cons

Hard to find serious pt, temp employees. Manager fills in when there are gaps in schedule. Sometimes working alone isn't fun.

    Advice to Management

Keep encouraging your managers. Be clearer about contest rules and prizes. They are a great encouragement.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Hickory Farms (Chicago, IL) in May 2017.

    Interview

I had applied online via LinkedIn and received follow up email about a week later asking to schedule an interview. The first interview was rescheduled to a few days later - it was an initial phone interview. The questions were abrupt and no introduction or explanation or opportunity to ask questions.
