I have been working at Hiya full-time (Less than a year)
Hiya is overall the best company I have ever worked for. Hiya consists of a group of extremely talented individuals who are passionate about the product and driven to help the company succeed. Because Hiya is a startup, each person is extremely valuable. You are a big cog in a wheel that I can see getting bigger and bigger and each person's contribution matters to the overall product. Overall, everyone is extremely supportive of each persons work and it really is an all hands on deck work environment.
Again, because we are a startup the work level is high. Although you work hard, you definitely get to play hard too, and Hiya offers great perks like lunches, happy hours and fun offsite events to keep the moral boosted.
Advice to Management
Keep making everyone feel like valuable assets to the team! You are doing AMAZING.
I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Hiya (Seattle, WA) in November 2017.
Standard design and algo questions like any other tech company. The interviewers are great and are more interested in seeing how much you know. If your fundamentals are strong you should be good.
