I worked at Holcim full-time (Less than a year)
Very overtime friendly, if you wanna work the hours are there. You can gain lots of knowledge on how the rail yard works. All about safety. The Denver terminal has over 5,000 days of no injuries on the job.
Some of the truck drivers don't have the best of attitudes. Not the best on training new employees.
Advice to Management
More time for training new employees. Management should be more involved in the training as well.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Holcim (Toronto, ON (Canada)) in September 2017.
Must include Cover Letter, CV, Transcripts. After first stage successful candidates are invited for numerical and logical tests. Then there will 15 minutes video interview. Final stage is interview at their office.
