I worked at Holcim full-time (Less than a year)
Very overtime friendly, if you wanna work the hours are there. You can gain lots of knowledge on how the rail yard works. All about safety. The Denver terminal has over 5,000 days of no injuries on the job.
Some of the truck drivers don't have the best of attitudes. Not the best on training new employees.
Advice to Management
More time for training new employees. Management should be more involved in the training as well.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Holcim (Singapore (Singapore)).
The interview process was quite fast. HR does not seem to be fully analyze me, and the Recruiting Manager was seem to be a bit clueless about interview. The interview was done at their plant, so it was a bit inaccesible, and the last interview was done offsite, to make it convenient.
