    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hold Brothers (New York, NY) in May 2016.

    Interview

I was familiar with the company and approached a current employee when I was in the market for a job after my consulting contract was up. I had a phone interview with another SVP and then a series of in person/phone interviews with the CEO. The interview was very thorough - covered skills, interests, previous work projects.

Questions about work history went pretty far back.

I got a feeling that he was trying to get the fullest possible picture of me as a candidate and evaluating what exact fit I would have at the company.
