At Holland, we are not only good citizens of the communities we work in, but also to the country. Whether it’s the money we donate every week to local charities from Holland Headquarters Jeans Day, to hauling water to Flint, Mich., or teaming up with the Atlanta Convoy of Care to drive a tractor full of donations to Baton Rouge, La. after the floods. Holland loves to get involved. We love when our staff comes up with creative ways to support local projects or small business, and we promote volunteerism among our employees.
We also like to celebrate the success of the company and our employees. Whether its one million miles of safe driving, or three, its important for us to acknowledge the accomplishments of our very own. See for yourself – we think they’re pretty great. Advice to Management
We need to focus on recruiting new drivers.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Holland (Chicago, IL).
Applied on a Monday, email confirmation that the application was sent to the Hiring Manager Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon an interview was set up for Wednesday. I arrived to the interview early and met with HR and the Hiring Manager who were both welcoming and polite. I then had a one on one interview with HM that lasted about one hour. Some personal questions to get to know each other but most other questions pertained to prior supervisory experience. It seemed to be a great benefit to have had prior experience working with teamsters. Waited about 6 days for an offer after completion of a personality test (taken online), accepted the offer pending drug and background check.
