Looking to switch from OP to SNF work. Have a non compete , says ‘similar services’. My lawyer says SNF could be considered similar due to verbiage, don’t ask me how. Says to be safe I’d want to get their permission. How do you even go about that? I’ve never quit a job, so turning in a notice to begin with is new to me. Like buh bye in 3 months do you care if I go with with all the old people in the nursing home instead of here?!

The fact that being overwhelmed and slammed with a bunch of people and tasks when i’m new in this job, is considered attitude. I was upset and a little overwhelmed, and i asked if i could have a few minutes to myself to recollect, and i got sent home instead. Is this okay? am i being to emotional..?

Somebody needs to investigate why you can’t get a half decent hotel room in any city in America for under $200 a night anymore. I thought I’d extend a work trip and sightsee for a few days, but who can afford this? I’ll do my work and go home instead

My Internet at home provider told me that I’m blowing through my data cap at home with all this WFH. Can we expense the amount of extra data we use above what is included in our monthly home internet package? I get that we can’t expense home internet but wondering if this applies to extra data now being used for heavy data client projects that are being done at home instead at a client or Deloitte office.
