Company Updates

  • Our customers rely on our Agents every day - even more so during periods of severe winter weather. It's during these times that many of our agents step forward to give more of their time so they can be there for our customers. And it's also during these times when we see our People act like one big family and take care of one another. Case in point: We found some chefs among our Chattanooga crew who stepped up and made breakfast for the team. Pancakes, bacon and omelettes! Later on, everyone was treated a fan favorite - pizza.

  • We're honored to be a supporter of the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, which supports people in Stamford, Norwalk, Westport, New Canaan, Darien, Wilton and Weston, Connecticut. Again this year, HomeServe was proud to sponsor their annual Voices of Courage Spring Luncheon, which was attended by a number of our Norwalk based employees.

What We Do

We protect homeowners from the high cost and hassle of emergency home repairs with Emergency Home Repair Service Plans that cover parts and labor to repair critical electrical, gas, heating, cooling and water systems. These affordable plans provide repair service in an emergency through our 24/7 repair hotline by local, licensed, and insured technicians with $0 deductible and a one-year guarantee on all covered repairs.

Why What We Offer Is Important

Our customer surveys have shown that the majority of homeowners are unaware of what their responsibilities are regarding the maintenance and repair of their water and sewer laterals. For example, many homeowners assume their local utility covers the water pipe that runs from the street to their home. Typically, this is not the case. If a service line breaks the homeowner is responsible for the repairs, which could range from $3,000 to $10,000 or more, and according to CNN Money, 64% of consumers do not have $1,000 on hand to cover an unexpected home repair.

    I have been working at HomeServe USA full-time (More than 5 years)


    This is a great place to work. Not just because we provide an excellent service to our customers but because you can see the benefits of the services we provide. I continue to promote the company with friends, family and anyone else I come in contact with who has a home emergency.

    This is the first organization that I have worked in that truly cares about our customers and we live and breath by doing the right thing. You can truly learn something every day. Over the last two years, we have brought in a number of individuals who are helping to drive the business forward.

    Lastly, there is so much more we can do and this is evident in our all hands meetings.


    At times we try to tackle too much but over the last few years, we have set up a vision as well as put the right people in the right roles to help prioritize and drive these efforts.

    Advice to Management

    Keep driving efficiencies, listening to the employees and the business will continue to succeed. Overall, amazing organization!

    I was interviewed by several different people at their corporate headquarters. Everyone couldn't have been nicer. The process was very friendly and well-organized. Good questions! The process was very professional and transparent. This company is rated by outside agencies as a great place to work, and it's easy to see why. Everyone there seemed to love their job, and it was emphasized several times during the interview process that it was a great place to work.
