I have been working at Hornbacher's part-time (Less than a year)
Higher than minimum wage, good coworkers, easy job
Supervisors over correct employees if they are having a bad day. Training is a joke with the rate of new hires and management have a very difficult time communicating.
Advice to Management
Only intervene when necessary. Don't write up employees just because you feel like it, and don't misconstrue what employees say so you can write them up.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Hornbacher's.
They briefly interviewed me then hired me. It was all in all about 15 minutes long and I walked out with a job opportunity. I was only able to work for 5 months and they were okay with that.
The negotiator phase was very quick and easy as they put the recommended idea of wage on the website.
