Hospitality Ventures Management Group is a privately owned, fully integrated hotel management & ownership company with properties located throughout the United States. HVMG is the leading solution provider for hotel investors, offering the following services: third-party management, acquisitions & joint-venture capabilities, project management & renovations, revenue management & eCommerce, new development and other hospitality management services. Our portfolio includes branded and independent hotels & resorts as well as upscale full-service, select-service, and extended stay properties, with a focus on Hilton and Marriott branded hotels.
With an average of more than 28 years of industry experience and more than 13 years working together as a team, HVMG’s leaders offer the benefit of an established track record of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in the hospitality real estate industry, having managed and/or owned more than 200 hotels. The company also has a successful track record of completing complex renovations and repositionings on time and within budget. Our team has supervised more than $300 million in renovations and has developed more than 20 new hotels from the ground up.
Leveraging a History of Success
After successfully establishing Impac Hotel Group, one of Marriott’s first few franchisees in the 1990s, Robert Cole merged Impac Hotel Group with Servico in 1998 with a combined portfolio of 143 owned and operated hotels. Cole went on to eventually found HVMG in 2001 with a single hotel, serving as President and CEO.
Since that time, HVMG has operated 67 properties throughout the US. Backed by an experienced team of leaders with an average of 20+ years of industry experience across all property types throughout the country including luxury, lifestyle, full-service, and select-service branded and independent properties, HVMG has received numerous awards and recognition for market share, guest service, and other performance improvements. Of the 28 hotels that HVMG has acquired or assumed management for, and has subsequently sold, an average of 123% NOI improvement was made under HVMG’s management.

Great company, support when needed, but they let you run your hotel.
I have no cons for HVMG
I applied online. I interviewed at Hospitality Ventures Management Group (Houston, TX) in May 2018.
Don’t waste your time... Where to start....applied for 300+ Rooms hotel in Houston airport area , for the executive housekeeper position ....they called me on Sunday afternoon Hi...this is .... from.. I love your resume and we looking for somebody like you to become and support us ASAP , as we running short and straggly on staff . Can you come tomorrow ? Sure......
Interview day , stop by the front desk and they announced me (15 minutes before my interview ). Had to wait over 45 minutes to someone to come and meet with me . Hi... sorry for the delay , I was so busy doing another department’s duties as we don’t have anought staff... After a long conversation :
Expect you to be 24/7 , heavy turnover , build the entire department , very low compensation (I think motel 6 pay more) for the type of expectations and the amount of hours required ... After over an hour of many questions , having me to meet with a guy who’s trying to be a GM one day , just with as Fb background asking you many ridicules questions (Nothing to deal with your experience , job related, etc).
