Houston Methodist West Hospital
Since Houston Methodist Hospital first opened its doors in 1919 in downtown Houston, we have strived to meet the needs of our community. Now, we serve the West Houston and Katy communities with a fifth hospital, Houston Methodist West Hospital. Houston Methodist West Hospital opened its doors to the West Houston and Katy communities in December 2010. Located at I-10 and Barker Cypress, it offers nearly 200 beds and extends several centers of excellence from Houston Methodist Hospital.
Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital
Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is a non–profit, tertiary care hospital, offering specialized services in Northwest Houston. A recent expansion on the 52–acre campus doubled the size of the hospital facility, bringing more expertise, more state–of–the art technology, and more specialized care to the community. From emergency services and primary care to open heart surgery and advanced stroke care, Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital redefines the term community hospital, exporting the world–renowned quality and expertise of Houston Methodist. Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital
In 2017, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, the eighth hospital in the Houston Methodist system, will begin a new era in leading-edge medical care in The Woodlands, TX. As a full-service, acute care hospital, it will offer many of the same services as our flagship hospital in the Texas Medical Center, and the campus will be modeled after Houston Methodist West Hospital near Katy.

Advice to Management
Communication is key! Dr. Boom does a great job of communicating honestly and frequently to the organization. The communication during Hurricane Harvey was very helpful and kept all informed throughout the disaster.
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Houston Methodist (Houston, TX).
applied in Aug-sep, interviewed in October, and a decision was made in November. pre-screen with recruiter then interviewed with all physicians and operations manager.
expectations in interview did not match expectations once hired on by physicians and management. more of a "if we like you and you do what we say, you can stay" mentality
