Interview
A long ridiculous process; first you must shoot a short recorded video answering their questions. Then you talk to the recruiter if selected - the typical conversation about tell me more, explain this etc. Then a personality assessment - it crashed midway during the process. Then a long assignment asking you about IOLTA & ops stuff. Fair. But when the question was “imagine you are a fly on the wall and overhearing this and that…” - that’s when I lost it. Ridiculous. I completed it in as little time as possible. I was not selected. Then strangely after a few days a law firm from a remote place in the us contacts me and surreptitiously interviews me under the pretense of a networking conversation. Somehow HTM comes up and I put 2 and 2 together. The positions advertised were to essentially source candidates for free on behalf of the firms looking for a full time COO. Evidently, they don’t have enough contacts or reputation to do this. I might be wrong and just a coincidence but I am happy I didn’t get the job.If you are a fly on the wall….
