I have been working at Hubzu full-time (Less than a year)
Good pay for a start-up, company could be the Facebook of real estate. People there are smart and super nice.
As with any start-up, the hours are long and when you leave at the end of the day there's probably some deadline that you still need to meet. Company needs more autonomy.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Hubzu.
Presentation required on a subject of their choosing. Complete waste of time because they interview you knowing that they are going to hire an internal client. The interviewer knew less about the subject matter than I did. He seemed very uninterested and rushed through the interview. Within 30 minutes they called to say that they went with an internal client. Totally insensitive. Just hire the internal client or at least don't waste the candidates time by requiring a presentation that requires a week of research.
Our Atlanta office spent an afternoon with a local improv acting out "ice breaking" scenarios. It was a fun day full of laughter and great communication - the team's already looking forward to the next event!
