    Pros

I've worked at many hospitals - most of them very large - and think that Hugh Chatham stands out for providing a friendly and caring environment for employees (new and old), an overall positive vibe and strong teamwork. You can sense that people take pride in their work, and it shows in the hospital's quality and safety outcomes that are consistently among the region's best. The hospital is always incredibly clean, the cafeteria food is freshly prepared and delicious, and physicians and staff really seem to care about each other and about the patients. The hospital is located in an attractive wooded campus with mountains nearby for lots of fitness opportunities. Employees also have access to Hugh Chatham's aquatics and wellness center which offers classes ranging from Tai Chi to boot camps, turbo kick and Zumba.

    Cons

The pay and benefits could be better - they're okay, but nothing to rave about. But there are many other work-life balance and work culture factors that make Hugh Chatham a great place to come to work everyday.

    Advice to Management

Keep asking employees for their feedback, as you're doing. Otherwise, keep up the good work.
