I worked at Hunter Douglas (US) full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and OT! But you aren't appreciated enough for the work that you do (if you are a great employee). Great opportunity to move into a lead position but that's it!

    Cons

Bad raises...2% over all. Don't matter if you do a better job then the person sitting next to you. No appreciation towards the employees-management tries; but moral remains low.
No advancement to supervisor/manager position unless you are favored!

    Advice to Management

Quit favoring people. Take action and discipline people!!-Don't wait years to discipline people! Get to know your employees and the work that they do!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Hunter Douglas (US).

    Interview

A recruiter scheduled the initial call. Most of the questions were focused on past experience and how those skills apply to the job offering. None of the typical questions were asked, eg how dealt with past criticism, over came an obstacle, where see self in 5 years, etc.

I am rating the experience as negative because I never heard back from the recruiter, and I was told I would get a call back either way within 5 days.
