Mission: We at Huntington are committed to doing the right thing for our customers, colleagues, shareholders and communities.
You’re going places — eager to learn, filled to the brim with ideas and ready to make an impact. We welcome and thrive on this type of energy. We’re changing the industry by creating a new standard for banking because we believe everyone — whether customer or colleague — deserves to be treated fairly.
While our perspective on the industry may be fresh, our roots run deep — we’ve been serving communities in the Midwest for almost 150 years. We’ve weathered changing economies and financial climates. Our commitment to doing what’s right for our customers, our shareholders, our communities and our colleagues has never waivered, and never will. Our competitors know us by our steadfastness, our customers know us by our loyalty and, once you join our team, you’ll know firsthand just how much we value our people.
At Huntington, you’ll find we are raising the bar on the industry standard. Along with our customers, we’ve weathered the downturn and resurgence of the economy. We’ve stayed true to our mission and stood by our communities because the status quo just isn’t enough for us, or the people we serve. We’re focused on introducing new ideas, pushing for sound change, and “always getting better.” We like to think of this focus as an attitude adjustment for our entire industry. An adjustment, beginning and ending with our passion to do the right thing.
Our customers know us. They trust us. They feel cared for, listened to and, most of all, welcomed. The way we treat our customers isn’t a directive from management, it’s simply an overflow of how we treat each other as colleagues. It’s in our core to do what’s right by our colleagues and customers alike, and it’s likely in your core too. As a member of our team, you’ll be offered an environment where relationships flourish, ideas are appreciated, and you’re encouraged to share who you are and what you think.
Our Core Values not only represent the foundation of our company, they guide us in everything we do. They keep everyone, at every level, focused on doing the right thing:
Huntington has a long history of giving back to the community through many important causes. But Pelotonia is something special. Every single dollar raised goes to fight against cancer, a terrible disease that’s touched so many of our lives. What we as a company can give to Pelotonia is significant. As a company we’re always trying to do the right thing. This is our way of giving back. Join the fight. Join team Huntington.
I have been working at Huntington National Bank full-time (More than 5 years)
Growing,Pto, continuous improvement, extended leave time for families after birth. Encourage growth and career development. Career paths are pretty black and white.
Very much like Chase, Communication is low, holiday schedule is getting lower, salaries lag, raises are minimal, management is normally not as qualified as they should be.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Huntington National Bank (Columbus, OH).
It was a relaxed one-on-one interview with HR personnel. The professional impression of Huntington as a company was encouraging and the interviewer seemed truly interested in candidates. It was some time ago, but I felt comfortable with the company and how she presented it.
