Husco offers internship, co-op, and new graduate opportunities for emerging professionals who are enthusiastic about innovation. Our intern, co-op, and new graduate employees are key contributors to Husco projects, tasked with specific goals and responsibilities. These tasks not only help interns and co-op employees develop fundamental skills in their chosen career, but they are also often the first step in a full-time professional career path.
We offer these learning experiences for all professional paths within the company, including engineering, supply chain, and administrative positions. Our internship programs last twelve weeks and our co-ops range from six months to twelve months. We search for internship, co-op, and new graduate candidates each semester, with new positions beginning in January and June of each year.
Other program benefits:
-Weekly lunch-n-learns with company leaders to learn about the organization beyond your day-to-day work
-Network with other co-ops, interns, managers, and employees through fun events like baseball games, lazer tag, golf, mud runs, and other company sponsored and informal events.
-Industry learning opportunities like Hydraulics 101 and Six Sigma training
-Presentation to company executives include the Chairman and CEO
-Regular check-in's with your manager and HR to ensure you're on the right track to success
-Formal performance reviews at mid-term and end-of-term to discuss accomplishments, strengths, and opportunties for additional growth and learning
-Build a solid understanding of engineering skills to aid in completing your engineering degree
-Develop interpersonal skills like verbal and written communication, managing projects and multiple prirorites, and working within a team.

Advice to Management

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Husco (Waukesha, WI) in February 2014.
Had a recruiter come to my college campus where we had a brief talk. I followed up with our talk and received an in person interview at their location. It was a very easy going interview where they made me feel comfortable. Met with 3 different people, then was on my way home.
