I have been working at Husky Injection Molding Systems full-time (More than a year)
Husky offers the ability to cross-train. They are a family oriented company. They offer great pay for the work you do as well as great benefits and differential for shifts.
Some of the negative aspects of Husky would include the second shift hours which run from 1:30 to 9:30. This doesn't provide much time for personal time.
Advice to Management
Allow people to cross train with some of the project engineers so they can have experience for those types of jobs, and force engineers to the manufacturing floor so they fully understand what goes into the product.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Husky Injection Molding Systems (Milton, VT) in February 2014.
Very professional. Standard interview questions. Interpersonal conflict with past supervisors seemed to be strong underlying concern for hiring team. They're looking for a "team" player, but beware, "team" means someone who will make them look good to corporate.
