I have been working at Hyundai Motor America full-time (More than a year)
A great team of very engaged associates. Lots of cross-collaboration in my group. New Executive Leadership at the CEO and COO level are refreshing. Hyundai is making great strides in product, people and better processes.
The Automotive industry is changing fast and HMA is not immune to that pressure. What will make Hyundai successful in the future, is that we challenge status quo and have a great ability to change quickly with few resources.
Advice to Management
Your people are your greatest resource.
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Hyundai Motor America (Fountain Valley, CA) in March 2018.
The interview process was fairly straight forward. Two Phone interviews (HR, then hiring manager, then an in person that consisted of meeting with 3-4 people). The recruiter I worked with was phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. Communication was good as well. I have been in some interviews where the company just goes dead. With Hyundai, once the process started, it kept going at a reasonable pace.
