I have been working at IMRIS full-time (More than a year)
The laid back work environment, cafeteria, the fitness center/showers, the flexible schedule, and above all, health and life benefits, and the thought of the good outcome of the patients that get treated with out equipment.
Lack of direction and accountability. There is no real managed structure in certain departments where structure is everything. The leadership is more worried about getting things done quick rather than doing it right and making sure it's well thought out and documented properly. Documentation needs major attention.
Advice to Management
Be more proactive in holding your employees accountable for the output of quality deliverables and the time it takes to reach specific goals. All departments need attention in this area.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at IMRIS in August 2014.
What a joke. I interviewed for a position that was already offered to someone else. Thanks for wasting my time!
My first interviewer was good.....took about 1.5 hrs to tour and discuss. The second guy that was supposed to be with him shows up 1.5 hrs late ....just ehhh....he blew it off like nothing happened. Then the HR gal comes in to tell us the job had been offered to someone else. Get your heads in the game people....you make yourselves look VERY unprofessional!!
