I worked at ING Investment Management Americas full-time (More than 10 years)
Good compensation and bonuses. The company would pay for anyone to prepare for and take the CFA exam. There are some nice co-workers.
Poor work/life balance for back office employees. Poor performers are kept around for way too long in alot of cases. Certain awful managers were seemingly rewarded for bad behavior, and HR was powerless to intervene.
I interviewed at ING Investment Management Americas (Boston, MA) in February 2013.
The interview process was conducted over several weeks. I first went to an informational meeting (they made it sound like it would be an interview) to give us an idea of the interview process, who they were looking for, and what the expectations would be. We scheduled interviews for a future date. I got the offer after the next interview, which was fairly straight forward.
Reasons for Declining
I wanted something less commissioned based.
