INVISTA operates four major businesses globally: Apparel & Advanced Textiles, Intermediates, INVISTA Performance Technologies and Performance Solutions. We’re constantly looking for individuals to enhance every business, at every level.

We’re recognized worldwide for the exceptional value we deliver to our customers through our market insights and technology innovations, along with a powerful portfolio of some of the most recognized global brands and trademarks, such as LYCRA® and COOLMAX® fiber, CORDURA® fabric, STAINMASTER® and ANTRON® carpet. We change the world every day through our innovations—and, as part of the INVISTA team, so can you.

Working for a privately held company like INVISTA has distinct advantages. As private companies, INVISTA and other Koch companies are able to focus on maximizing long-term value in everything we do, because we are not distracted by the need to meet short-term quarterly earnings projections and stockholder demands. In addition, our historical shareholder practice of reinvesting as much as 90 percent of earnings has created the financial strength necessary to grow and diversify.

By working for INVISTA, you are also working for Koch Industries, so your opportunities for growth, career path and locale changes, and advancement extend to all of Koch’s businesses around the globe.

It’s Not Our Name, It’s Our Products

You’ve heard the brand names: LYCRA®. STAINMASTER®. COOLMAX®. THERMOLITE®. You know them and use them everyday. What you might not know is that they’re all made by INVISTA, along with many more groundbreaking products that impact the quality of our life and work. As part of the INVISTA team, you’ll join in the development of new products just like these—innovations that impact and improve lives, and even become household names.

Market Based Management®

Every company has a distinct way of doing business, and INVISTA is no exception. We apply a unique philosophy called Market Based Management® (MBM®) that encourages our employees to think and act like owners of the company regardless of their position. The MBM® Guiding Principles we practice are the foundation for encouraging a results-oriented culture inclusive of:

  • Individual and corporate integrity
  • A strong commitment to all areas of compliance including environmental and safety.
  • An opportunity for every employee to contribute to the creation of real value for the customer and company.

We pay people not positions.

We practice a pay-for-performance approach to compensation. Your total compensation is based on your total contribution to the successful results of the company. We do not utilize pay scales or pay grades that are typically based on years of service and job title to determine the value of your contributions. Our approach to compensation allows us the flexibility to differentiate and reward our top contributors based on their results.

Personal Fulfillment

When our management and compensation philosophies are aligned, our employees have a unique opportunity for personal fulfillment with INVISTA. We want all employees to realize their full potential by having room to innovate within their positions and be rewarded for their contributions. Since we are a large, multi-national organization, the opportunity to be exposed to challenging work for individuals and our company as a whole is virtually limitless. We feel this can be accomplished by:

  • Conducting your work in a compliant manner
  • Focusing on creating real long-term value for the customer and company
  • Seeking and sharing the best knowledge to achieve profitable results
  • Embracing and driving change
  • Demonstrating humility and treating others respectfully
  • Encouraging teamwork

People are great! MBM values - not flavor of the day.

No real 'perks' - like casual Fridays, 9-80s, etc.

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at INVISTA (Victoria, TX) in June 2017.

Applied online and got a call from HR about a week later. Did a standard phone interview which lasted about 15 minutes. Then another week later I had a phone call with the hiring lab manager which also lasted about 20 minutes. They then scheduled me for an on sight interview immediately afterwards. The interview lasted about 3 hours and I spoke with about 6 people. It was a little intimidating but they asked the same questions which were all behavior based. They focus a lot on Market Based Managing. Overall they were very polite and professional. The only issue I had with was that it took over 3 weeks for them to contact me and to tell me their decision.
