I worked at Icon Information Consultants (More than 3 years)
It was great working with Mia. He was upfront and kept me abreast. He sent me on several interviews before I landed my position.
It is hard to get a new assignment when assignment is completing. It all depends on whether they have new requisitions to fill positions that match your background.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Icon Information Consultants (New York, NY) in March 2017.
I want to start this out by saying I never applied for a position here, I was contacted by them. I was called on a Tuesday after 5 p.m. to come to an interview. The recruiter had found my resume online and a job had opened which he felt that I was a great fit for. He really hyped the position up so I went to the interview in the midst of traffic. Upon meeting at the office, I got an interview with the company they looking to hire for. I was constantly assured that "I had this" and that this position would be filled by the end of the week. My interview was on a Thursday and I never got an answer back. I received a text from the recruiter saying that he would contact me Friday in which he never did. The weekend came around and it's now Monday and still no response. I found them to be EXTREMELY unprofessional. They basically strung me along and I'm assuming things didn't work out but instead of just being honest and giving me answer, they decided to just not contact me at all. I understand that you cannot guarantee someone a position but it's wrong to contact someone and expect them to drop everything and then string them along and constantly reassure them that you'll get them an answer only to just not say anything at all.
