Innovative spirit, approachable senior and executive management, fun events, great co-workers, on-site cafe
High turnover, job instability, insufficient training, inconsistency and poor communication of workflows and standards, lack of resources for workload or initiatives, replacement of critical subject matter experts with cheaper, less qualified resources, sending everything Offshore, loss of the "Impac Family" vibe
Advice to Management
When taking risks or switching gears, more time and analysis is needed prior to jumping in with both feet. Unwinding projects and losing valuable resources is more costly than taking the time up front during decision making to make sure it makes sense. Listening to the seasoned employees working on the front lines and in the trenches would serve the company well - there have been multiple scenarios where the consensus was "we knew this was going to happen".
Easy to get hired. No formal training in place.
I was desperate.
