I worked at Imra America as an intern
-Employed lots of interns
-Lots of company extra-curricular activities - anniversary parties, company lunches
-Old school company - at least on the manufacturing side
-Intern pay rate was very low compared to other opportunities in the engineering field
Advice to Management
-Pay the interns a little higher
-Have more structure for interns and their work
-Modernize the company culture a bit more
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Imra America.
Applied over UMICH Job board. First phone interview and then in-person interview. Not many technical questions. Just spoke about what the job would entail and asked about my prior experience.
