Mission: To transform healthcare through the creation of a remote presence network wherein world-class patient care is provided anytime, anywhere.
I have been working at InTouch Health full-time (More than 10 years)
Great company culture. People really believe in what the company is doing -- saving lives of patients. Fun engineering group with events like the "Robot Hackathon". There's a wide range of engineering work going on, from UI to networking to robotics to augmented reality. There are opportunities to work with a lot of cutting edge technologies and apply them to healthcare.
The new office is a little far North on the 101. Also, for a while the salaries were below market (but fortunately that is changing now! New recruits should be happy with the compensation package.)
Advice to Management
Keep up the team-building activities
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at InTouch Health (Santa Barbara, CA) in August 2014.
3 different people interviewed me - 2 in-person and one over their robot which was neat. Lasted about an hour each and mostly asked the same questions about what I was looking for in a company, why I was leaving my current position and why I am interested in InTouch Health.
Congratulations to InTouch Health Founder, CIO, and Chairman Yulun Wang, PhD, for receiving the IEEE Medal for Innovations in Healthcare Technology!
