I have been working at Indianapolis Motor Speedway full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company treats its employees better than most companies I have worked for.
Good insurance, good PTO, and periodic gifts from management to remind us that they understand how hard we work. I appreciate the recognition as much as the benefits.

    Cons

As in any sports event career, the hours get long and include evenings and weekends in preparation for events. Not a con specific to the company as much as the type of work. I have had no negative experiences from the company itself.

    Advice to Management

You have some great people running Operations, keep them happy and keep letting them run with it!

    Interview

Pretty easy, Just the basic situational and behavioral questions. If you have ever been in an interview you will be fine. Just be outgoing with a salesman personality. You will be traveling and talking to a lot of people during the internship so you want to make sure they know you are a people person.

    Interview Questions

    • You are working at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse and you have to get 100 people to sign up for an e-newsletter. How would you go about this? would you wait for people to ask you questions or would you go out and approach people?   Answer Question
