Enjoyed my short turn as a library assistant at the Spades Park branch. Good management, training, nice neighborhood branch.

None I can recall now.

I applied online. I interviewed at Indianapolis Public Library (Indianapolis, IN)

Asked a lot of customer-service oriented questions (although none of that would actually be used on the job), had to write out the alphabet (not kidding) along with the expected alpha/numerical questions. Had to prompt to get answer on employment and then couldn't start for a couple more weeks because they only do orientation (which was not useful at all) a couple of times a month.

How do you deal with difficult people (but then found out patron interaction was to be minimal & referred to librarians).
