Industrial Electrical Company's Culture Crew is a group of employees whose focus is to grow engagement through shared activities such as after work events like bowling tournaments, trying out the shooting range, park days and charity efforts. The Culture Crew chose to work with Cleansing Hope Shower Shuttle to help others locally. Cleansing Hope believes in a 'hand up' not a 'hand out' to meet the need of consistent basic hygiene to those without. Kevin Howell, who leads the Culture Crew, says IEC’s employees will assemble 1,000 “street survival kits”. The kits include a razor, travel pack of tissues, toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton swabs and a comb. Groups of employees have a time slot to go to the company's break room to assemble the kits. We are so excited about helping in a positive way! For more information check out

Industrial Electrical continues to move forward with facility upgrades! The company moved to the current location more than 60 years ago and many changes have been made over the decades. After recently completing our new break room called The Unwind Room, we began work on the back half of the 1417 Coldwell Avenue location. This project involves completely demolishing the administrative offices, training rooms and the IT Department. Upon completion, the mechanics will move from the east side to the west side of the building. The last phase consists of building the administrative offices on the east side of the building. Ultimately, the work flow will be much more efficient with two large roll up doors, lifting capacity will be increased substantially, there will be new durable epoxy floors, and the shop will have amazing climate control. We are excited for everyone in this area and cannot wait to complete the project in October!

Like all companies, IEC is slow to change how things are changed around the business. In my opinion, IEC is getting more and more flexible as time goes on.
