As Co-Founder of Infusion, DeBorah has been a driving force in the company from Day One. Her ability to carefully calculate and balance intelligent risk and to provide prudent planning have provided a solid financial foundation for the company’s impressive growth trajectory.
In her role as CFO, she stands at the helm of the operational side of the business, ensuring the company’s financial stability and integrity. In 2006, Alim was named as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, a prestigious national award honouring outstanding leaders. A mastermind of innovation, Alim has been instrumental in shaping what we do and how we do it.
Alim has been with Infusion since the early days. He was recruited by our New York office in 2001 to open a Canadian operation and – in 2002 – was named Infusion President. I have been working at Infusion full-time (Less than a year)
Some of the brightest people I have ever worked with, work with cutting edge technologies, healthy culture.
Prior to joining I read a few negative comments, many relating to work/life balance and lack of focus, as well as issues about corporate culture. My experience has not supported any of these negative comments. In fact, the company has taken an initiative recently to focus on culture and work/life balance, likely in response to some of these comments, which HR does pay attention to. I can understand how there may have been issues in the past and a couple of colleagues have spoken about the "darker days", but as of now, this is one of the more positive experiences of my 26 year career.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Infusion (New York, NY).
The process was pretty standard, they have you come in for three interviews after a phone screening. They interviews all took place in the office and it was a comfortable setting.
