I worked at Ingersoll Rand full-time (More than 10 years)

There are a lot of good people work there. The benefits package that is offered is quite competitive, as well.

Having a good work/life balance is encouraged. However, not practiced by management, which makes it hard for employees to have a good balance.

    Advice to Management

Along with having a good work/life balance, empowering employees with added responsibilities is important - this is a fine line to walk.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Ingersoll Rand.

Phone Interview with 3 engineers, on speaker, 30 min, basic behavioral questions, was pretty personal. Asked a lot about the projects I have done in the past and the skills I got out of them. After the phone interview I was contacted the next day offering me the position.
