I worked at Insight Charity Fundraising Services part-time (Less than a year)
Great work environment and awesome and with initial introduction and training quick to the point and very valuable.
The 'Team Leader' 'Manager' podium overlooking staff seems only to encourage the Team Leaders unshakeable belief of his own inflated feelings of personal ability, privilege, and infallibility. His 'one on one training sessions' is just his opportunity to ensure your submission is cemented in. If he does not approve of you - your gone! (my opinion.. get a hair cut MG!)
Advice to Management
If you have a dress code, enforce it - don't just tell new staff that you do as they are all sighted to date! This undermines the integrity of the company and the management.
I applied online. I interviewed at Insight Charity Fundraising Services (Sydney (Australia)) in June 2017.
1st round was a phone interview then 2nd round was done in a group interview format in a conference room. The interview outlined the responsibilities and the opportunities for growth. Then they gave us a piece of paper with the name of an object written on it to sell to a specific person e.g. a hippie, business woman, university student, etc. (demographics). Then they gave us a standard script used for a charity like PCYC, and interviewees went on the phone to pitch to the interviewer in their own way.
