Integral Resources – Why Work For Us?

We work to make the country a more fair and equitable place!

We need your help

If you believe every American rich and poor deserves a good education

We need you on our team

If you believe every American deserves health care when they are sick

We need you on our team

If you believe who you marry and what you do with your reproductive parts is no one's business

We need you on our team

For over 25 years Integral Resources, Inc. (IRI) has been raising the funds that fuel the progressive movement. Our fundraising efforts helped elect Barack Obama into the White House, elect Democrats to Senate, Governor and House seats. Our efforts protect a woman's right to choose, provide healthcare to refugees in Africa and stop Ebola.

What is Integral Resources?

Integral Resources, Inc. (IRI) has been raising funds for progressive political and non-profit organizations for 27 years. What sets IRI apart from other professional tele-fundraisers is our core set of values. We believe in a world that works for all individuals, from all walks of life, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or financial status. We believe everyone deserves a fair shot, and we believe that with hard work and dedication, everyone should be able to achieve their goals.

At IRI we don’t just fundraise for these beliefs. We live by them.

That’s why our team of professional fundraisers is as diverse as they come, and why our management staff is among the best in the business. We are passionate about the causes we raise money for and dedicated to the fundraisers that call for them. When you work at IRI, we don’t view you as one of our employees, we view you as a part of our community. Many people have walked through our doors and found meaningful employment on day one.

What will day one look like for you?

Former U.S. Secretary of State & Senator John Kerry (left)

Ron Rosenblith, CEO & Founder of Integral Resources, Inc. (right)

Throughout his career, Ron Rosenblith has been dedicated to progressive causes and forward-thinking fundraising. Before he established IRI in 1990, Ron was a founding publisher of the Presidential Campaign Hotline, which is now the leading daily news briefing on American politics. Ron has worked closely with Senator John Kerry for many years, serving as Kerry’s senate campaign chief-of-staff in the 1980s, and most recently, lending his years of expertise in politics, fundraising, and number-crunching to Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign.

CEO & founder Ron Rosenblith opened Integral Resources Inc. in 1990 with the understanding of 4 basic facts:

With the right lists, telephone fundraising is an effective way to prospect and build a donor base.
Many progressive non-profit organizations cannot afford the initial cash outlays involved in building a telephone responsive donor base.
Many progressive non-profit organizations need a predictable income from their fundraising efforts so that they can budget responsibly.
A strong foundation of fundraising data is invaluable to clients and fundraisers.

On these principles, Ron developed his new fundraising theory — the financed professional fundraising program. IRI would offer fundraising services with no up-front costs, and sometimes guarantee a set monthly payment to the client. This theory created a high level of accountability and commitment to quality, because the success of IRI would be inextricably linked to the success of our fundraising programs.

Special Olympics Massachusetts was the first client to get on board with the new idea. In 1990 SOMA had no telefundraising program. Within 2 years, IRI had created 170,000 donors whose gifts averaged nearly $20. SOMA would still trust IRI with their residential telefundraising programs for years to come, which produced over $2.5 million for the organization since 2000.

Since 1990, Integral Resources Inc. has worked with dozens of charitable and progressive political clients. We’ve proven that non-profit and progressive political organizations can create donors and generate a consistent net income through residential telefundraising. Today we own the telefundraising rights to over 2 million progressive donors. And, we’ve created a model that makes these residential telefundraising programs accessible to organizations that cannot afford costly donor acquisition.

Integral Resources is happy to be in service to the mission and organizations we call for. Our agents/fundraisers do professionally what volunteers used to do but with much much better results.

Our pay has a base plus bonuses. The bonuses are tied to the number of hours you work (work more hours get more bonus) and the amount of money you raise (raise more money earn a little more money) but is not percentage or commision based.

High Hours Like every fundraising business our core team of over 30 hour a week employees raise the majority of the funds our clients depend on. So our "high hours" fundraisers earn the most with pay ranging from $11.75-15/hr average in Fort Lauderdale FL, Durham NC, and Columbia MO. Massachusetts agent fundraisers earn $13.50-$18.00 as cost of living is higher in MA.

Part Time Working over 15.5 pm/weekend hours or 21.5 daytime (one weekend day) hours you will earn base, housr and production bonuses. Average in Durham, Fort Lauderdale and Columbia MO is over $10.50 to $13.50 per hour.

Limited Hours We ask you only comit to the job if you can exced the minimum hours above for bonuses. However if you work less than minimum hours we can not pay bonuses. Limited hours agents require a lot of training and coaching for a small amount of fundraising. If we have space and time to work with you we may allow you to work out a specific agreement with your center director but we will only be able to pay you minimum wage. We see this as essentially a paid volunteer doing only a few hours a week and raising just a few hundred dollars.

I have been working at Integral Resources full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you have don't have sales experience - they'll teach you, if you do, IRI is the place for you, and, if you have sales experience and political knowledge, this place is Nirvana. Great management staff, one that recognizes both hard work and creativity. Best phone sales/fundraising place I have ever worked, and I've worked at quite a few.

    Cons

Every organization has some cons, I can't think of one here, though. The base pay seems a little low when you interview, but then you work here and realize it's not - the top callers are compensated very well when bonuses are figured into the equation.

    Advice to Management

    Don't change your model.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Integral Resources (Durham, NC) in May 2017.

    Interview

I met with Samuel at the Durham location. He asked me questions about what I studied in school, and my experience in politics and with Progressive causes. After we talked about my history he told me that he felt I would be a great fit at Integral Resources and he went over their pay structure and answered some questions I had.

At least at the Durham location, Samuel is great at answering emails as a couple days before the start of training I emailed him a couple of questions I had after doing more research in the company and he got back to me by the next business day.
