Coworkers were generally good people. Some flexibility to work off-site and stagger hours to avoid the worst commuting traffic.
The senior management were both lazy and incompetent. Unable to provide anything but platitudes and parroted marketing speeches, they were unable (or unwilling) to perform even the most basic management responsibilities consistently. Unethical behavior seems habitual as they have employees working on multiple projects yet present the illusion to clients that the employee is dedicated to just one project. No real effort to support work\life balance. Salary reviews and bonuses promised yet mysteriously never happen (or happen nearly a year late). This company is a case study in the making (dysfunctional management - symptoms and solutions).
Advice to Management
Turn over senior management over to competent leadership and learn from them.
