You will be given a lot of interesting projects to work on and will be focused very much on coding design and implementation instead of getting stuck with menial changes. This gives you a great opportunity to learn and have fun while doing so. There is a lot of hands on work as well in addition to coding. The management is very approachable and easy to work with. Recently switched to a 980 workweek, hopefully it will last.
What people say about contractors still holds true, but it has gotten a little more stable since I have been working there. Is also has shifted to a slightly more cooperate style, but it still provides good flexibility and there are NO politics.
Advice to Management
Overall excellent job breeding a company culture. For more stable employment, instead of doing work for a client right away, try harder to convince them to put off work for a month so that you can keep your employees more gainfully employed.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intelligent Product Solutions.
The interview was about half an hr long and not too difficult. I was asked some of my previous experiences and then I had the opportunity to ask them questions about the position and their roles and career histories. They also asked about academic honors. I spoke to two interviewers back to back, not at the same time. I think this made it alot better than having both interviewers there at the same time.
