I have been working at Intelligent Product Solutions full-time (Less than a year)
Work is tough for sure when you're switching between being a mobile app developer, web developer, and whatever else is needed at the moment but it definitely gives you the opportunity to with whatever technologies you want as well as touch all aspects of a development stack, doing everything from requirements gathering to architecture all the way through handing a product off to a customer. Its a unique experience being able to see all of that come together on such a short tome frame.
The company also does a great job keeping a close knit and collaborative culture. You have a company of close knit people who genuinely seem to want to help each other out from management all the way down to interns.
When everything is said and done IPS is still a contracting/services company so things are always feast or famine. Either there's too much work and not enough people or you're waiting around for the next project to start/come in.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work with the company culture, I think it's really what sets you apart from other companies.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intelligent Product Solutions.
The interview was about half an hr long and not too difficult. I was asked some of my previous experiences and then I had the opportunity to ask them questions about the position and their roles and career histories. They also asked about academic honors. I spoke to two interviewers back to back, not at the same time. I think this made it alot better than having both interviewers there at the same time.
