I have been working at Internal Data Resources full-time (More than 5 years)

IDR offers an incredible opportunity for people to come into a company that is in extreme growth mode and really add value. IDR has a very competitive base and commision and offers great benefits to its employees. IDR invests a tremendous amount in every employee and expects that our teammates give it their all everyday. Fun place and people to work with!

Staffing is a tough industry, no hiding that. IDR can't change the industry, but they do everything they can to invest in the success of every employee.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in your people. The changes that IDR has made over the last 12 month have been great, keep it up!

    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Internal Data Resources in November 2017.

    Straight Ghosted Me!

I applied. The process took maybe 30 minutes online. Then, I was immediately contacted via phone call minutes later.

The call lasted 30 minutes and I found out that this was a temp position with a client of IDR's. Towards the end of the email, the recruiter told me that they would be putting my resume into the mix of applicants for the position. I was slated to hear back from them after the holiday and that when they went silent.

Emailed again just to see if anything had changed? Nothing.
Emailed to see if they could just be cordial and let me know that their client wasn't interested ( hey it big deal). Nothing.

Highly unprofessional. Especially with dealing with a Sr. Manager that has over 10 years of experience in my field.

Played directly into the recruiter stereotype that you hear of all the time.

Why Your Next Contract IT Job Needs to Provide an Engagement Manager - IDR

Picture this: You are working with a recruiter. You narrow down what you want and what the job market has to offer. You discuss terms, sign an agreement, start your contract IT job, and...poof. Your recruiter vanishes. You have questions, you need support, and in your hour of need, the staffing firm has just moved on.
