Mission: We are the catalyst for discoveries that spark the senses and transform the every day.
I have been working at International Flavors & Fragrances full-time
I enjoy the entrepreneur spirit of our company. Not too procedural driven still structured enough to function effectively. People here are spectacular, creative, kind, incredible.
Have not found cons yet in over 11 years. Of course I could say compensation but nothing compensates working with a talented diverse group of people sometimes from all around the world.
Advice to Management
This year they are focussing on transparency and a culture survey. My suggestion is to drive it home, the people are really worth it.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at International Flavors & Fragrances (Carrollton, TX).
Some behavioral interview questions. Questions about personality, work experience, and diversity. They prefer to hire young inexperienced people so they can keep labor cost down. They also prefer people who speak Spanish. No direct hiring, you always have to go through a temp agency so expect even lower pay for at least 6 months until you get hired full time. When they do hire you full time they will low ball compensation similar to the level you get paid through the temp agency. You have to negotiate hard to get you wage up and it will below market rate in your area. People that do not negotiate pay will get very very low compensation.
