I have been working at Intersil full-time (More than 10 years)
Takes full advantage of my strengths, works with my weaknesses. Committed factory assistant managers that I couldn't say enough good about.
Not nearly enough people. Bean counters get involved to a fault. I suppose that's the way of the world, but if a bean counter followed me around as I got my daily 6+ miles in, they'd rethink how they evaluate needs of the business. Just as an example
Advice to Management
Do a better job identifying where the fat truly is. Start by observing who comes in after 9 am and leaves well before 6. You'll find it isn't in manufacturing.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Intersil.
I got a call from university career fair, then they I actually got a call from hr after 20 days. The interview was for actually summer intern. They just asked some basic questions on projects and how do test a resistor and an Op-amp.
