I worked at IntraHealth International full-time
Most people at IntraHealth seem to really believe in its mission. The organization respects work-life balance, and is making a strong effort to develop the leadership potential in people at all levels. I felt I could discuss issues of concern with anyone, all the way up to the CEO.
The cons aren't so much with IntraHealth itself as with working in for an NGO in general. Most NGOs live and die by the project cycle. That can make for a bumpy career ride.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IntraHealth International.
I had a phone interview first with HR and it was a pretty basic interview. I had to answer general questions about my work experience and knowledge of IntraHealth. The in-person interview lasted much longer and I was asked in-depth questions about my work experience, working style, in addition to some behavioral questions. At the end I completed a budgeting and writing exercise.
