Intralox is Laitram’s largest division. It manufactures not only the most versatile line of modular plastic belting products but other patented conveying technologies and ARB equipment solutions. Intralox’s products and services are ideal for many industrial applications and are widely used in general food processing, meat, poultry and seafood processing, beverage handling, can manufacturing, baking, case and box handling, and packaging.

In October 2013, Laitram opened the Laitram Fitness & Nutrition Center on its Harahan, Louisiana campus. Operated by Lifestart Fitness, the fitness center is available to all employees 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a nominal fee. It is staffed full time by a registered dietician, health coach and personal trainer to assist employees in reaching their fitness and nutrition goals.
Employees can enjoy amenities typical of their local gym, including free weights, treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes as well as a group exercise room where classes such as Cycling, Yoga and Pilates are included in the membership. Post workout, locker rooms with toiletries and showers are available to employees.
Laitram has partnered with Marathon Health to provide wellness and healthcare services to its employees and families, using the Marathon Health MedicalHome@Work™ model as the foundation for care delivery. This model facilitates a partnership between the patient and caregiver with preventative and primary care, care coordination and referral management, community provider and health services integration, and a HIPAA-compliant technology platform for documenting and managing care.
