Interview
The interview process was a bit unknown. I was told originally that I will have two round of virtual interviews with two different set of people. After I went through those they told me I should have one more round with the CTO. The first two round were great. You could tell the overall culture of people working there which was great.InterviewThe first round was technical questions starting from “what is a class” and ending in “How does dynamoDB Partition key works”. The second round was more on getting your background and asking you behavioral questions. The third round Aka the CTO interview was bizzare though. It felt more like a sales pitch than anything. He asked me to talk about my experience in a tree format in 5 mins!! The format was unknown to me and I have never prepared a sales pitch of myself in that allotted time. Also his tone and understanding of Software Engineers was not appreciated by me. Now looking at this background which is non-tech I now realize why that is.
