I have been working at Iron Mountain Inc full-time (More than a year)
Diverse days, independent, very limited micromanagement; Trust you're competent.
low pay to start, no growth, very small pay increase per year (roughly 30 cents....barely keeps up with inflation).
Advice to Management
We know how much profits we bring in daily. Knowing there is such slow pay advancement makes it a very easy decision to start exploring other opportunities. Not a single one of my 70 coworkers only work there. It is very unfortunate that people who work so hard, putting in over 50 hours a week, still cannot survive off of that salary alone. If they want consistent, reliable, honest, even "harder" working drivers, the pay must be worth it.
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Iron Mountain Inc (Boston, MA).
Disorganized, disjointed process that went on for several months. Recruiter screening, round of phone interviews, then hours of on-site interviews that required me to take vacation time. Interviews were straightforward behavioral questions. Many of the people I worked with positioned it as a tech company - Iron Mountain stores records and also scans them and did not have the typical culture of a tech company at all and didn't offer any of the usual perks (that I could see on site) that are expected at tech companies.
Never heard from anyone after the interview - HR promised to follow up, never did, and didn't respond to my emails.
