I have been working at Irving Independent School District full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

One of the highest paying districts in DFW. They cover almost all of the insurance for an individual. Teachers and staff are great.

    Cons

There is lot of administrators turnover. Once you get used to a new principal they move up or out, and the new one brings in a new team.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at Irving Independent School District (Irving, TX) in November 2017.

    Interview

Called me in for an hour long interview in front of 7 people. It wasn't bad, however it became obvious that I was only there to interview as they had no intention to hire me. The questions asked didn't relate to the job and they seemed like they had better things to do. I later found out from a friend that someone had already been chosen and the interviews were a formality.
