Mission: We are united by belief in the power of “Ideas Without Limits.” Enabled by technology, designed for people, delivering business results.

Isobar – Why Work For Us?

Isobar is 4,500 people in over 70 locations across more than 45 markets globally, united by belief in the power of “Ideas Without Limits.” As digital technology continues to transform businesses and brands, what we can do has no boundaries.
We take up new challenges with an open mind about the structure, team, technology and creative solution necessary to deliver the best possible outcome for clients.

Isobar is part of the Dentsu Aegis Network. Dentsu Aegis Network is innovating the way brands are built for its clients through its best-in-class expertise and capabilities in media, digital and creative communications services.

We drive digital transformation through two key offerings: Brand Commerce and Product & Service Design. We bring brand inspiration and commercial interaction closer, delivering delightful experiences anytime, anywhere.

Strategy

Using proprietary research tools, and social listening and data platforms, our strategy teams do it all: brand strategy to business analytics, media strategy to user experience. We configure your Isobar team for your specific engagement. Whether we’re delivering a complete high-level, global brand strategy or simply defining the role for a particular platform in a local market, we start with how people, brands, and markets behave and interact. And we’re always informed by analysis of real-world data. Our goal is a single-minded, ownable narrative for your brand that will inspire creative, effective solutions.

Campaigns

Isobar combines the power of storytelling with the creative use of technology to inspire people and motivate behavior. Data and technology help us create emotional responses in ways that don’t irritate or interrupt consumers, but add value, delight, and surprise to daily life. We believe great ideas can come from anywhere and encourage close collaboration among all our creative, content, user-experience, technology and strategy specialists. Only through collaboration can we create Ideas Without Limits: campaign ideas with the scale and flexibility to grow and thrive across channels, platforms, and experiences.

Platforms

We design, develop, deploy, and support e-commerce, content, and consumer-engagement platforms globally, across technology frameworks, with teams headed by some of the world’s most experienced and respected technology leaders.

Isobar configures teams and capabilities around client requirements – from preferred technology and back-end integration needs, to the most appropriate project management methodology. We’ve developed a suite of proprietary processes – from iterative quality assurance to bespoke tools for local market deployment – that helps us deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

Products

Isobar was recently ranked by Forrester as a “Top 10 Innovation Agency.” With Fiat Live Store, we opened the first real-time, video-linked car dealership with half a million monthly visitors. We created Sky Tweet, a utility that lets consumers control their TV set-top DVR with a Tweet. And we developed a new virtual reality platform named Chevy Co-Driver that lets car shoppers take dramatic test-drives right on the showroom floor. Much of our innovation work is done in Isobar NowLab: physical labs where we explore new technology from artificial intelligence to robotics, and determine their viability for clients.

Experiences

The most important platform in any digitally enabled experience is the human one. So the Isobar approach to experience design has people at its heart, from insight and research, to rigorous testing and optimization. We combine content, visual design, user experience design, and technology to develop engaging, effective experiences that drive measurable value. Our experience design practice works in close collaboration with our broad and deep development capability, which ranges from sophisticated front-end, to best-in-class e-commerce platform deployment and optimization.

Isobar’s entrepreneurial, collaborative culture has creative innovation at its core. Technology never stops evolving, so people should never stop learning and we encourage continuous professional development and growth. We’re an agency without borders pursuing ideas without limits, and we succeed when our people do.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Isobar (Chicago, IL) in January 2017.

    Interview

Applied with a referral. Process took about 4 weeks total. Phone interview tech screening, in-person in Chicago. The recruiter was the worst part of the whole process. He was very hidden throughout, and after a great in person panel interview where I was told "what a great way to end my day!" And proceeded to hear the two architects banter about how well it went as they left the room and walked away.. I got basically froze out for a week and a half, when then I was told another candidate was a better fit. one of the most odd occurrences in the interviewing game I've ever been a part of. I never even had his direct email.
