We created Sky Tweet, a utility that lets consumers control their TV set-top DVR with a Tweet. And we developed a new virtual reality platform named Chevy Co-Driver that lets car shoppers take dramatic test-drives right on the showroom floor. Much of our innovation work is done in Isobar NowLab: physical labs where we explore new technology from artificial intelligence to robotics, and determine their viability for clients.

I have been working at Isobar full-time (More than 10 years)
I can safely say my career has been made at Isobar. This is a place you can call home for a long time, and you will see your skills grow, your titles (and responsibilities) advance, and have a great time all along the way. The people around you authentically care about you and ensuring you are in the best environment to succeed - for our clients and for yourself. The work is interesting (most of the times, but we can't always control our clients' interests!), and Isobar is focused on always providing value to our clients to help them stay ahead of their competition and the market. Isobar invests a lot into career management and training, though it's not always as visible, since it's usually in the context of a specific project's needs. I can't say everyone has the same experience with everything, but I can say having seen so many people stay for such a long time, and having seen so many leave only to come back shortly thereafter, tells me that there is something special about our culture.
Isobar can always do a better job with management-driven communications and transparency. It's not always clear what the direction of the company is and it can lead to some level of uncertainty among the staff at times.
Advice to Management
Stay on top of proactive communication. But more than that, keep acting as stewards for what makes us great.
I applied online. I interviewed at Isobar (Chicago, IL) in June 2017.
I had a great response form the recruiter, they regularly updated me on the status of the interview process and after an initial phone interview I was called in for an in person. The Interviewer was the lead department developer and was very relaxed. They seemed keen to find people for the job and were very welcoming as a whole.
