I have been working at Iteris full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Opportunitys to do work on a variety of projects as the company is not that large. You can get a lot of experience working on different areas of ITS. Design, Integration, even some installation and construction if you like to get your hand dirty.

    Cons

Salary's dont keep up with Market values.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Iteris.

    Interview

I had an initial phone interview with a recruiter then a follow-up phone interview with a senior staff meteorologist at Iteris. The job requirements specifically stated that either on-site or remote telecommute work was permitted. When I stated that I could not move and opted for remote work, he seemed disappointed and asked why. The vacancy description was totally misleading. Otherwise, my education and skills matched exactly what they wanted. No feedback or follow-up on the application was ever provided. They also do background checks and ask for other personal information when you apply online, not after you are hired. Too invasive for a simple job application, not recommended.
