I have been working at Ixia full-time (More than 5 years)
Great people, willing to go the extra mile if needed. Overall atmosphere and expertise is phenomenal. Some of the brightest in the business are at this company.
New product introductions are done in a vacuum. Communication needs improvement to the field to generate interest in next gen products.
Advice to Management
Open the lines of communication with those that are responsible for driving the revenue machine
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ixia (Beaverton, OR) in February 2017.
I applied online, had a phone conversation/screen with their recruiter, then a phone interview with a QA Manager. I asked the QA Manager how many hours per week I would be expected to work, and he replied that 50 was normal during regular times and 60 during crunch times. That is a 1/4 to 1/3rd pay cut, right there, just for doing hard work! The interview wrapped up within five minutes after that. While they said they said they'd get back to me with a firm no or yes, they never have.
