I have been working at JANUS Displays full-time (More than a year)
Working with Janus Display has been a very positive and fulfilling experience for me. I have been given the resources to capitalize on my own personal strengths, and it has been a pleasure working with the management team. I feel that I have been able to have my own stake in the company's success; I truly feel part of a team. Hard, honest work has definitely been rewarded, many of my ideas have been valued and implemented, and I never feel like an expendable "number." As a plus, the product is very cool and working with it daily challenges me to grow. I have learned a lot about my own work ethic during my time here.
As with any small company in a competitive market, initiative is a necessity. Without a proactive work ethic and the ability to adapt, personal failure is likely. Janus Display is not for a person that wishes to do the bare minimum. Every day is different. For someone looking to do the same thing day in day out, this isn't the company for them. Very little of the work here is mindless; it takes a constantly working mind to succeed.
Advice to Management
Keep working on product development. The product is already very cool, but I can't wait to see what we can do in the future!
I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at JANUS Displays (Saint Petersburg, FL) in August 2015.
An engaging phone interview with HR that lead to a very strained process after. In house interview met with the CEO who for over an hour unloaded all her personal and emotional feelings about her company and the department which in her own words is in shambles. She asked me more personal questions than she did technical questions about the position and after already having two interviews asked me back for a third. I declined jumping through any more hoops considering I already took an IQ quiz, and two interviews and after I declined they still ran my background anyway.
