Our CEO and Marketing Intern volunteered at the North Liberty Summer Lunch Program today. They had the opportunity to serve alongside a local high school student in the area!
This month, JM Swank donated 152 food items to the North Liberty Community Pantry for their Thanksgiving in July campaign. It was a great opportunity for our employees to give back to the community around us.

JRRW Transport and its three trucks were purchased by JM Swank in 1974 to deliver food ingredients for its expanding distribution network. Today that network includes 80 trucks and multiple distribution centers throughout the United States. JRRW takes pride in having quality equipment and operates late model tractors that are leased and well maintained. Units are assigned to drivers and they are responsible for proper care.

I have been working at JM SWANK full-time (Less than a year)
I recently joined JM Swank and am enjoying the culture. It's a nice mix of long tenured staff and new hires. Everyone has that friendly "Iowa Nice" attitude and helps each other out.
It's an exciting time as we transition to a stand-alone company and drive for growth. We are investing in many areas to enable that growth. We get to control our own destiny!
There has been a lot of change and that always presents challenges with communication. There is a lot of effort to address this.

I applied online. I interviewed at JM SWANK in April 2017.
I applied online and JM Swank followed up to set up an interview. They scheduled an interview for a week later. The interview was with two members of the JM Swank team. I was asked about my experience, how it applied to the position, the industry, and how my skills could benefit JM Swank. The interview was professional, but not super stressful. I felt like the company took their time to get to know me as an individual. I left the interview excited about the possibility of working here based on my experience and what they had told me about the position. They followed up within a few days and kept me informed throughout the whole process about what was going and their timeline for a decision. Within a week, they offered me a position over the phone and I accepted.
