    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Jackson Health System (Miami, FL) in June 2016.

    Interview

Took 4 weeks to receive a call from HR. Hr only called to schedule a time for me to come in for interview. There was no initial phone screening. I was told it was because my resume was selected by hiring manager. It was straight to the point. After initial face-to-face interview, I waited approx. 1 week to receive another call for 2nd interview. Went for 2nd face to face interview. 2nd interview had more questions and a total of 3 Jackson senior level employees (Director level and above). I thought interview went well. Received verbal offer within 1 1/2 weeks after 2nd interview. Took 2-3 days for the offer in writing. Approx 4 weeks until I could have a solid start date. DO NOT give your notice to your current employer until AFTER your employment is not contingent on anything (background check, physical, drug test, etc). I say this because I've known people who have given notice to employer but something happened that caused delay in timely processing of their paperwork. If there is a delay in paperwork, you do not want to be without a pay check for weeks or months.

    Interview Questions

    • What do you do to relieve stress?
Biggest accomplishments at the organization you work for now?
what are your methods of communication? do you have reliance on one form of communication over the other?
Why do you like your job or best thing you like about it?   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There was no room for negotiation regarding salary. I asked for a little more than original offer but was told no, no counter offer, or any other form of negotiation.
