I have been working at Jaguar Land Rover full-time (More than 3 years)
awesome training trips - covered fun
long hours, no work life balance
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Jaguar Land Rover (Sacramento, CA) in June 2017.
I walked into Niello Land Rover and asked if a service manager was available and immediately got introduced to one, everyone there was extremely professional and easily approachable. I got to sit down and speak to the manager about getting hired there as an apprentice technician and he was very thorough on his explanation as far as what they were looking for and what they had to offer as far as promotions go. I was told to apply online as soon as possible and when I did I received a phone call immediately. Scheduled an interview, it went well then another interview the day after but with the general manager there as well.
Our Castle Bromwich plant has unveiled a 35-foot high Jaguar F-TYPE emblazoned with a bespoke poppy design to mark Remembrance Sunday in partnership with forces’ motorsport charity Mission Motorsport and the Royal British Legion.
A second F-TYPE SVR was adorned with the poppy design at Mission Motorsport’s workshop in Wantage, Oxfordshire. It is going on a ten-day UK tour in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday, making its way around Jaguar Land Rover sites and military landmarks such as the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire before arriving in Anglesey to play the role of safety car for Mission Motorsport’s fourth annual 12-hour endurance event Race of Remembrance.
When they were first tested on the Jaguar C-type in the 1952 Mille Miglia road race in Italy, Jaguar's new disc brakes caused a stir amongst race officials; “We had to show them how they worked, and actually prove it was a brake,” said Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis, at the time navigating for Stirling Moss.
How will you innovate the future?
